Sade Baderinwa was born in Edo State, Nigeria, into a family of intellectuals. Sade's interest in broadcasting began at an early age, following in the footsteps of her mother, a journalist with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). As a result, she developed a keen interest in the early days of Nigerian television, which ultimately led her to pursue a degree in Mass Communication from Oduduwa University in Ibadan.
Entry into the World of Radio Broadcasting
In 1999, Sade began what would become a life-changing internship at Rhythm FM, a popular Abuja-based radio station. This experience opened doors for her to land her first paid role as a producer at the unfortunately short-lived Top FM. The soul of the once failing radio station was rekindled by her numerous breaks, Television spots, and marketing interviews. Despite the station's eventual shutdown, Sade continued to climb the corporate ladder, taking jobs at Crystal FM 92.7 in 2006 before becoming the first female OAP at Vibez Fm.
